Spotlight on Leadership

Like Father Like Son

This father-son duo knows what it means to be leaders in the community. Robert Mays, Jr. works for Nucor-Yamato Steel. The company makes $225 available for employees to donate to a charity or school of their choice. We are very honored that Mr. Mays choose to donate to Avondale Elementary. His son is in Mrs. Newingham's kindergarten class. Nolan was the top participant in our St. Jude Math-a-Thon, raising $515. Way to go Nolan!

We are thankful for everyone that participated in the

St. Jude Math-a-Thon! Together you raised over $3400 for

 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
